Introduction

At first glance, Idit’s story might sound like a career change. But dig deeper, and it’s really a story of coming home.

After losing both parents at a relatively young age, she experienced challenging digestive issues that doctors just wanted to medicate. Having an inner knowing that grief was at the root, she was called to tend to her well-being holistically.

She was introduced to Ayurveda years back, a 5,000-year-old science from India that addresses health in a mind-body-spirit manner. She met her Ayurvedic consultant shortly after her father passed away and was able to naturally come back to balance by reconnecting to her body's wisdom.

But it wasn't until she became a mother to twins that something inside her shifted. She didn’t just crave more flexibility — she craved nourishment. Vitality. Joy. And perhaps most importantly — purpose.

From Numbers to Nourishment

Inspired by her own healing journey and the healthy lifestyle passed down by her mother, Idit left behind spreadsheets and boardrooms in her career as a CPA in 2014 to create something more aligned with her values: A&I Nutreats, a line of healthy baked goods that brought together clean ingredients and Ayurvedic intention.

Soon after came DelighTeas® — her Ayurvedic Herbal Tea brand born from her desire to offer functional, organic teas that truly support the body. She introduced the first Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel (CCF) tea blend to the U.S. market — a timeless Ayurvedic powerhouse blend that promotes digestion, naturally cleanses the body, and enhances nutrient absorption while grounding your energy*— and hasn’t stopped innovating since.

She believes in joyful movement, nourishing food, and starting every day with a ritual that grounds you — which is exactly what DelighTeas was made for.
